John has 35 years experience in the Investment Management industry whereby he has served the past 23 years as Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Private Investors at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which subsequently merged into Blackrock Investment Advisors. While at Merrill Lynch, he oversaw a department of 18 Investment professionals and was responsible for the oversight and management of assets in excess of $10 billion. He also served as Chairman of the Fixed Income Strategy Committee, and helped to write the monthly Fixed Income Investment Commentary. His other duties included marketing and sales.
John has a BS degree in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University and received his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School.
