John has more than fourteen years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Sovereign Advisers in 2007, he was with First Bank in Columbia, Illinois. At First Bank, he was responsible for generating and increasing the consumer and commercial loan portfolios and increasing the deposit base of the various branches.
Much of John’s investment related experience was acquired with Bank of America and its subsidiaries where, among his duties, he developed and expanded business relationships with external and internal clients and facilitated product training for Asset Management Group of Banc of America Capital Management. During his time at Bank of America, he worked with Treasury Management, Consumer Bank, Business and Premier Banking and Asset Management groups.
John earned his BS at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri and holds NASD licenses Series 6 and 63. John is responsible for the development of new business relationships on behalf of Sovereign Advisers in the Mid-Western region.
