Prior to joining Sovereign Advisers, he served 3 years as an internal sales consultant with Columbia Management Distributors, Inc. an Investment subsidiary for Bank of America. There, he specialized in helping advisors grow their business by building portfolio’s and strategies in order to achieve the clients stated goals. He also spent 2 years with The Vanguard Group, there he served the high net worth clients and their portfolio needs.
Michael attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned his BS Degree in Finance. While in college, he interned with Salomon Smith Barney and this created his passion for the industry. He currently is a CFP candidate.
Michael volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and First Tee
of Charlotte.
Michael is happily married to his
wife Elizabeth, and they are proud
parents
of their first baby girl, Elizabeth Perrin Flowers.
